Aug 2008,  St. Jude Medical (Cardiac Division) "SJM", Minnetonka, Minnesota, engages eNVy Systems, Inc. for consulting services to implement a comprehensive reporting system as a replacement option to retaining support for their OpenVMS/MANMAN ERP system.

Implementing eNVy services for retiring MANMAN seemed the best option as SJM previously retained eNVy Systems for MANMAN/OpenVMS, Operations, Help Desk and SQL Data Warehousing long before the migration to SAP.  ENVy’s proprietary Warehouse Suite software facilitates the migration of data from the OpenVMS system to the Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle platforms with data updates in near real-time.  

After an extensive technology search by eNVy , SJM implemented a scaleable Web solution using OpenSource technologies designed by eNVy Systems.. OpenSource technologies include DotnetNuke portal framework and OpenWebStudio "OWS".

The reporting system, "Ready2Go.NetNuke for MANMAN" is available as a ready to use application for clients running eNVy's Warehouse Suite, SQL Data Warehousing Technology with Oracle Codasyl DBMS. According to Tim Peer, Solutions Architect, "Implementing a solution using an OpenSource Framework has truly leveraged the development effort by focusing on the content using SQL and HTML alone. The Ready2Go.NetNuke - DotNetNuke framework is highly scalable to include data sources other than OpenVMS/MANMAN with minimal effort."
